Hamilton is an economic growth hot spot and at Opportunity Hamilton our aim is to help investors and businesses leverage off our region's success.

Underpinned by the dairy and agriculture sector Hamilton's economic growth is providing signifiance opportunities for investors and businesses looking to establish, expand or relocate. A combination of lower costs, a diverse and skilled work force, solid infrastructure (including Ultra Fast Broadband) and supportive business environment provide the setting needed for business success.

Geographically, the city is ideally placed to gain global business.  It is situated in the centre of New Zealand’s the 'growth triangle' of economic growth and on the edge of the Asia Pacific Rim.  Major road, rail and inland port developments have given the city excellent access to major air and sea ports, which has increased Waikato regional export potential.

If you represent a business and require assistance with establishing your operations here, Opportunity Hamilton can offer a range of free services including assistance with site selection, introductions to industry networks, providing business information, streamlining resource consent applications and facilitating access to Government assistance programs.
